1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Decoded Carnival.
These Terms of Service govern the use of our website and services, including event ticketing, carnival costume purchases, Carnival Concierge Experiences, customer accounts, and related entertainment offerings.
By placing an order or using our services, you agree to these Terms, subject to applicable law.
Additional event-specific, costume-specific, or package-specific conditions may apply and will be disclosed before purchase.
2. Our Services
Decoded Carnival provides services that may include:
- Carnival and entertainment event tickets
- Carnival costume registration and purchases
- Masquerader services
- Event packages and experiences
- Carnival Concierge Experiences
- Digital entertainment content
- Related customer services
Service availability varies by event, destination, and season.
3. Customer Accounts
Customers are responsible for providing accurate registration information and maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Customers must notify Decoded Carnival promptly if they suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, misuse, or violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
4. Pricing and Payments
All prices will be displayed in the applicable currency.
The final amount payable, including any applicable taxes, processing charges, or additional fees, will be disclosed before payment confirmation.
Payments must be completed through authorized payment methods.
An order is not confirmed merely because a customer reaches a payment return page. Confirmation depends on successful payment verification and the applicable order conditions.
5. General Refund Policy — All Sales Final
All confirmed purchases of event tickets, carnival costumes, and related services are generally final and non-refundable, except where:
- Applicable law requires a refund or other remedy.
- An event is cancelled and a refund is required by law or by the applicable event-specific policy.
- Decoded Carnival expressly approves an exception.
- A specific package or service provides different written refund terms.
Customers should carefully review event dates, locations, costume selections, sizes, package inclusions, and all applicable conditions before completing payment.
This policy does not exclude or limit statutory consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
6. Event Tickets
Tickets are valid only for the event, date, admission category, and conditions specified at purchase.
Customers must present valid admission credentials when required.
Digital tickets may contain unique QR codes.
Tickets may be rejected where they are invalid, duplicated, cancelled, refunded, fraudulently obtained, or previously redeemed.
Ticket transfers or name changes are permitted only where expressly authorized by the relevant event policy.
Lost access to a customer account should be reported to customer support.
7. Event Changes, Postponements, and Cancellations
Event dates, venues, performers, schedules, and operational arrangements may change for legitimate reasons.
Where an event is postponed, existing tickets may remain valid for the rescheduled event, subject to applicable law and the event-specific terms.
Where an event is cancelled, Decoded Carnival will communicate the applicable options, which may include refunds, credits, transfers, or replacement experiences, depending on the circumstances, contractual responsibilities, and applicable law.
No provision in these Terms removes a customer's legally protected right to a refund or other remedy.
8. Carnival Costume Purchases
Carnival costumes may be produced, reserved, or allocated according to selected designs, categories, and sizes.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate sizing and contact information.
Designs, embellishments, materials, and accessories may have reasonable production variations, provided the supplied product complies with applicable law and the agreed description.
Costume availability is subject to confirmed inventory and payment.
Once an order is confirmed, changes or cancellations may not be possible, particularly where production or customization has begun.
Where a costume is defective, materially different from its description, or not supplied as agreed, applicable consumer rights and remedies remain in effect.
9. Costume Collection and Delivery
Customers will be notified of applicable collection arrangements, identification requirements, and collection deadlines.
Where delivery is offered, additional conditions and charges may apply.
Customers should inspect their costumes promptly and report missing, incorrect, or damaged items within a reasonable period.
Failure to collect a costume does not automatically create a right to a refund, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the order.
10. Deposits and Installment Payments
Where deposits or installment plans are offered, the applicable payment schedule and conditions will be disclosed before purchase.
A deposit or installment does not necessarily constitute full payment or guarantee delivery where contractual payment obligations remain outstanding.
Consequences of missed payments, including any lawful cancellation or forfeiture provisions, must be clearly disclosed in the specific offer.
No undisclosed penalties or forfeiture terms will be imposed.
11. Carnival Concierge Experiences
Carnival Concierge Experiences allows customers to browse carnival destinations and submit enquiries concerning packages and related services.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a confirmed booking or payment obligation.
Package availability, pricing, inclusions, travel dates, and booking conditions must be confirmed separately.
Where third-party accommodation, transport, events, or other services are included, additional supplier terms may apply.
Customers will receive the relevant booking and cancellation conditions before entering into a confirmed package agreement.
Any package-specific refund or cancellation terms must be disclosed before payment and must comply with applicable law.
12. Travel Documentation and Personal Responsibilities
For international experiences, customers are responsible for ensuring that they hold the necessary passports, visas, travel permissions, and other required documentation, unless Decoded Carnival expressly agrees in writing to provide a particular service.
Customers should independently review destination entry requirements and applicable health and safety guidance.
Decoded Carnival will not guarantee immigration approval or entry into any country.
13. Event Conduct and Safety
Customers must comply with applicable laws, venue regulations, safety instructions, and reasonable event policies.
Disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, violent, or unlawful conduct may result in removal from an event, subject to applicable law.
Customers participate in events and activities with an understanding of the ordinary risks associated with crowds, weather, travel, and live entertainment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Third-Party Services
Certain services may be delivered by independent event organizers, venues, transport operators, accommodation providers, or other partners.
Where applicable, customers will be informed of relevant third-party conditions.
Decoded Carnival remains responsible for its own legal and contractual obligations and does not disclaim responsibility where applicable law prohibits doing so.
15. Intellectual Property
The Decoded Carnival name, logos, website content, promotional materials, original designs, photographs, and other protected materials may be owned by or licensed to Decoded Carnival or its partners.
Unauthorized reproduction, commercial use, distribution, or modification is prohibited except where permitted by law or written authorization.
16. Website Availability
We aim to maintain a reliable website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may perform maintenance, correct errors, or temporarily restrict services for security or operational reasons.
If a technical problem affects a transaction, customers should contact support rather than repeatedly submitting payments.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Decoded Carnival will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Any limitation of liability is subject to applicable consumer protection laws and does not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Force Majeure
Events or services may be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, government restrictions, or major transportation disruptions.
Where such circumstances arise, Decoded Carnival will communicate available arrangements and honor applicable contractual and legal obligations.
19. Disputes and Applicable Law
Customers should first contact info@decodedcarnival.com to seek resolution of any purchase or service dispute.
The applicable law and dispute forum may depend on the contracting entity, event location, consumer residence, and mandatory consumer protection requirements.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights or protections that apply under mandatory law.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, or operational practices.
Updated Terms will be published with an effective date.
Material changes will not retroactively remove rights already established under completed purchases where prohibited by law.
